About Us
Serving the counties of Boone, Clay and Kanawha in WV.
Child Evangelism Fellowship® is a Bible-centered organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living.
The CEF of WV-Kanawha Chapter was chartered on November 16, 1968 and exists to reach children with the Gospel of Christ in the West Virginia counties of Boone, Clay, and Kanawha.
The Good News Club and 5-Day Club ministries take place in neighborhood settings such as homes, backyards, schools and community centers throughout the Kanawha Valley. These fast-paced, one-hour programs are designed to bring the Gospel of Christ to children on their level in their environment. Along with these clubs, the CEF of WV-Kanawha Chapter also has fair, open-air, and other exciting ministries for children.
Junghwan (Jeremiah) Cho, President Child Evangelism Fellowship
“I have served with Child Evangelism Fellowship® since 1988 in various roles in my home country of South Korea and as a missionary to Sri Lanka. In 2014 I became the regional director for the Middle East. During the eight years in that role, God blessed the work in the region and new nations were opened for CEF® ministry. My burden continues to be that we can reach at least five percent of the children around the world, which is 100 million, with the Gospel.”
